Crikey! Australia Zoo tops for crocs ... and tourists

Steve and Terri Irwin’s Australia Zoo is famous for its crocs and reptiles but with the wildlife park being crowned Queensland top major tourist attraction for the third year in a row it has joined the Hall of Fame.
16 November 2009
Australia Zoo has set the standard for being a leading zoological facility, and it a must see hot spot for locals and tourists alike. Last year it was even crowned the top attraction for the whole of Australia.

Terri Irwin said she was ecstatic about the honour, which came as Australia Zoo prepared to celebrate the life and legacy of the original Wildlife Warrior, Steve Irwin with activities at the Zoo and all over the world on 15 November - Steve Irwin Day.

Australia Zoo is also getting ready for a birthday party of Jurassic proportions on 1 December, when Robert Irwin turns six and all kids under 14 with an adult can come to the zoo for free!
